MTS-trainer refers to low-streaming digital systems with the analog section (route).
Low-streaming (with analog section) - partially professional type of solution, sufficient for the professional production of video content on the deferred basis. Operator control and auxiliary broadcasts are carried by the transport of the low-streaming analog composite signal to the switching system. Such type of signal reduces the quality of online-signal, but provides all the necessary functions for receiving of the resulting program by further automated postmontage (postcutting). Transporting of the video signal is performed in real time mode by camera channels based on the computer twisted-pair cable (four-channel).
MTS-trainer is a multiuser computer. It consists of a central block, designed as a floor tower and workplaces for 4 directors located linearly in a row. Every workplace is a keyboard and programmatic (program) monitor, by which the has control over its program. At a distance of 2 meters from the directors’ workplaces the light steel frame is set. Four computer monitors are hanged on this frame. On the extreme left 2 monitors video from the 16 cameras and players (8 on each) is reflected. And on the other 2 the first and third programs (for display panels in the hall) are represented. The second program is not displayed for general viewing. The program of greenroom can be displayed for a senior director individually.
Engineer’s (VCR (video cassette recorder)), camera channels, titles service, etc.) and the sound engineer’s workplaces are usually placed T-shaped to the director’s line.
The switching system is made in accordance with the requirement of maintenance of modern show with 5 simultaneous programs (with 4 directors and 1 engineering). Accordingly to the senior director of broadcasting roles in directing team are appointed.
The first program - the main broadcasting, carried by the most experienced director. From this program all other programs are desighned.
The second program is auxiliary (for further editing of the resulting video version), it is carried out "perpendicular" by Kuleshov relatively to the first program.
The third program is mounting of the hall and media panels with close-ups of the participants and the audience’s emotions. Accomplished with taking into account the use of a general plan in the first program - when the general plan is selected and the shot hit media panel, the director of the third program switches one plan to another, thus giving an extra sense of presence for the remote viewer.
The fourth program is a greenroom. The interviews with important guests and participants are monitored. The important statements for sponsors and customers of video versions of events are formed and forbidden to broadcasting episodes of the show are overlapped (recovered).
The new solution - the simultaneous production of several compositionally different resulting alternative programs, which have the same duration of all switched segments (patches) between alternatives (it is impossible to get it with the old technology, but it is important for the resulting montage of over responsible programs); the possibility of using automatic turning-out of program developments ("auto-piloting"), etc.
The set includes 12 coils length of 150 meters. The solution allows the customer to use own coils-extenders up to 300 meters ("Stadium" standard). Thanks to the low price this type of solution is on interest in post-Soviet countries and the Third World countries.
