National Athletics Championship - another peak

The three-day multi-camera live broadcast of the National Athletics Championship of Ukraine came to the end. In official documents is noted that for the first time in the history of the national sport Ukrainian viewer could track online athletic event of this level on traditional television technology. Professional indoor track, 11 cameras, 4 director, 10 cameramen, sports commentator, online titration.

Now it is apprehended as the norm. But this broadcast would not be possible if it were not a team of professionals of Sumy RSTBC and Sumy State University. And but for unique television technology of agency Monolog. To say that our team has been preparing to this success for 20 years - it's nothing to say. But, nevertheless, it is a fact. Our partners and dear students – Ruslan Nikolenko, Lyudmila Krivomaz, Andrey Gerashchenko, Dmitry Pechenyuk, Yuri Zhuk literally were waiting for theese translations for all these years. But who would have thought back in 1994th, when "Sumy vibration" just begined to move to the "metropolitan television market" (daily program "Computer-X" on UT-1), that the most important television results will be obtained at home, so to speak without departing from the fellow-townsmen and that in 20 years ?! Now we can easily call all this "famous Sumy television experiment." Direct multi-camera internet broadcast on TV channels and in the "web", when on marker work not the provincial standard number of cameramen (not more than 3-4), but 10 and above, is "conceived" in Sumy. Thanks to professor A.V. Vasiliev, chancellor of SSU our team returned home in Sumy in 2011. And work has begun ... Trumpets of Ukraine, Martial Honor, Independence Day, Edcation – reload, Talent battle, Sports personality, Konotop battle, X-factor in Sumy, TIK band, Singing Sumy, StudDens Festival, East-Rock 2014...

And well-developed experiment – National Athletics Championship. There will be no great exaggeration to say, that no one in the world except fellows of Monolog Company and SSU could not carry out this multi-camera sports live broadcast from Sumy at this level. Experts know - eleven cameras just live are not supported. You need a special technology. And the important factor is the "issue price". Because "for a big money" anyone can. But on the "student" level, so even with a perfectly clean and accurate picture - then you need to toil. And that's a lot of years. But the technology is simple "like rake" – it’s non-synchronized video switching system, a camera channel on the "twisted pair", own "intercom" and tally, its team of professionals. In short, fellows of Monolog know how to do it. We just do not have to keep up with the speculative market, but to protest the case. And make some calculations. Volunteers are not only in the ATO. There are hundreds of thousands of them all over Ukraine. It is important for all to realize themselves. Interns also took part in work – SSU students – Irina Nikolaenko, Svetlana Pilipenko, Oleg Yatsenko, Vitaly Petrov, Alesya Haletha, Sergey Chirkov, Alexander Kovalev. We have confidence - it is claimed. So, we live!
